01From gold-standard dairy farms...

Imagine the goodness of fresh milk obtained from 95% grass-fed cows. Wonderful, right? That’s the goodness that goes into every serving of our whey protein.

And the cows on the dairy farms we source from aren’t just grass-fed. They’re also cows that spend 250 plus days a year outdoors, on family-run farms in 21 counties across Ireland’s eastern seaboard and America.

You see, we love nature. We love our dairy farms and dairy farmers. We love the cows that gift us milk of the highest quality.

And we want to share this love with you.

We’re on a mission to make truly grass-fed the gold standard of dairy. Why? It’s hormone-free and antibiotic-free. This is dairy farming that’s Earth-friendly and oh-so good for you!

02Through safe and minimal treatment

Minimal inputs go into the production of whey protein at Trunativ. This is because we place nature and natural ingredients & methods front and centre.

That being said, the utmost level of safety and hygiene are maintained throughout the production process. Unmatched nourishment is the aim, and quality remains uncompromised in our quest to achieve this aim.

That is why, in keeping with safety regulations, we pasteurise the raw milk we use to produce whey protein. In fact, the milk is tested at every step of processing to ensure its quality is optimal. We do our best to maintain the quality standards of the Truly Grass Fed name.

We’ve come to realise that safety is possible without excessive processing, and that purity can unlock good health.

03Where cold-processing makes the difference

If you’re wondering how our whey protein goes from liquid to powder, we have one word for you: ‘cold-processing’.

Once pasteurised, our whey protein concentrate is processed in a natural, cool environment. This step gives us pure whey protein liquid. The fascinating transformation from liquid to powder takes place when our whey protein liquid is dried using hot and cold air. This is how we derive a protein powder that has a whey ratio of about 90%.

But why cold-processing? Well, it’s the best way to ensure that our whey loses none of its nutritional value and that the protein we offer you doesn’t get denatured during treatment.

04Made better through research & innovation

Trunativ Raw Whey Protein is the brainchild of Glanbia Nutritionals, and the pride of our team. Therefore, it goes without saying that it is a product of relentless study and the best use of advanced technology.

With an unwavering focus on the safety of our environment, we continue to innovate efficiencies aimed at a zero net impact on the planet. And the whey protein we offer you is born of the cross-microfiltration process optimised and pioneered by Glanbia.

Innovation is the cornerstone of our production process, and the goal is always nutrition that works for you.

And sustainable farming is the key

Our dream of better nutrition for you is also a dream of a healthier planet. Therefore, throughout sourcing, processing, and delivery, we go above and beyond to minimise our carbon footprint.

It is for this reason that our farms are certified to the Sustainable Dairy Assurance Scheme (SDAS) – part of Ireland’s Origin Green initiative, under Glanbia Nutritionals’ Truly Grass Fed Sustainable Program.

Sustainable farming is the future of farming. We’re already living this future at Trunativ.
Happy farmers. Healthy food.

Why should we use Whey protein?

TruNativ Raw Whey protein powder is the smartest and easiest way to meet your protein needs, while not consuming any extra calories for the same.

How is Whey different from other proteins?

The real factor that sets Whey apart from other protein sources is its highest biological value (BV) of any other protein source, meaning it is more efficiently absorbed and utilized for muscle-building purposes than any other protein source.

Is the raw Whey digested easily?

Yes, TruNativ’s Raw Whey has quick absorption, providing you with easy and complete protein nourishment.

When should I consume TruNativ’s Raw Whey?

TruNativ Raw whey is best to be consumed post workout to fuel your muscles with protein, preventing muscle breakdown.

What is the difference between Whey Protein Concentrate and Whey Protein Isolate?

Both being milk derivatives are excellent sources of protein that differ mainly in the protein content. Whey Protein Concentrate provides 80% protein while Whey Protein Isolate involves the extra step of processing to derive 90% protein. Whey Protein Isolate is virtually low in lactose (contains only trace amounts), fat content when compared to Concentrate and is particularly suitable for lactose-intolerant.

How much Whey should we consume daily?

Studies have identified the recommended daily intake of protein for an average man/woman to be 0.8g-1g/Kg of body weight. Accordingly, for the best results of muscle growth, we recommend consuming 1-2 servings of TruNativ Raw Whey with water or milk daily as a part of a healthy diet.

Is there any steroid in this Protein powder?

No, TruNativ Raw whey is 100% natural milk extract sourced from the USA. It is steroid free, and has no additives or fillers.

What does it mean by 100% Whey when Whey Protein Concentrate delivers only 80% protein?

The 80% refers to the concentration of protein available in a serving of Whey Protein Concentrate. 100% Whey refers to the protein source used, meaning Whey Protein as a single ingredient. It does not contain soy, egg, or any other source of protein.
